A Note About Pumpkins in South Florida

A few things to know before your installation: We use real, fresh pumpkins, which means South Florida’s heat, humidity, rain, and sun can affect how long they last. We carefully select our pumpkins with longevity in mind, but we cannot guarantee that every pumpkin will last the entire season. Covered and shaded porches generally offer the best conditions. South Florida wildlife can also be curious! Squirrels, raccoons, iguanas, and other visitors may damage pumpkins, particularly near canals, lakes, wooded areas, and preserves. Unfortunately, wildlife damage cannot be prevented or guaranteed against. If a pumpkin begins to deteriorate, we recommend removing it promptly to help protect the surrounding pumpkins. Every pumpkin is unique, every porch is different, and Florida weather can be unpredictable. It’s all part of the beauty of decorating with the real thing.
